Hailing from South Central Los Angeles, Oscar Bendeck began his culinary career in country clubs, moving quickly through the ranks in various kitchen positions, and establishing a passion for global cuisine. Oscar graduated from Le Cordon Bleu and has worked at some of the most iconic venues in the country including; The STAPLES Center, Levi’s Stadium, AOL, Cisco Networks The Hollywood Bowl, and The Chevy Chase Club. Over the course of two decades, he has refined his cuisine and his love for wine. Now Oscar has found himself transplanted here in wine country, and is eager to execute his culinary vision in the first Winegarten in California.
